With our very first structures being made from steel plate and required extensive welding. It worked, but it also taught us some very valuable lessons.
After building several versions for well over more than twenty years, one principle has remained an undeniable constant. Our levee structures must be nearly indestructible and continue working season after season.
That core principal remains a steadfast requirement but we have also dedicated ourselves to manufacturing a structure that can also be removed and relocated if desired while maintaining their utmost sheer structural integrity.
Our Construction and Proven Durability
Each of our structures is built from 1/8-inch steel plate, with press-formed components used wherever possible. This rugged construction provides several practical advantages:
- It can withstand placement, repositioning, relocation, and clog removal with heavy equipment.
- The steel gates resist damage from beavers that would otherwise chew wooden stop logs.
- Our durable construction reduces the need for repeated repairs and rebuilding year after year, holding true to our Motto of "One and Done!"
Each model is custom built to customer specifications. The Wings provide added structural integrity and allows for back-filling.
